Tomato, Garlic and Chorzio Twisted Wheel

Try this twisted wheel out for a great starters or to share for when the family come over!



Ingredients:

2 sheets puff pastry

1/2 tube of Gia Tomato and garlic puree

120g Chorizo slices

Mozzarella Cheese (grated bag)

1 egg, beaten


Method:

1: Preheat oven to 200C

2:Roll out pasty and cut around a dinner plate to make circle. Repeat with other sheet and place to one side for step 7.

3: Transfer one circle to a large baking sheet, lined with parchment paper.

4:Spread the Gia Tomato and Garlic puree leaving a 1 inch gap around the edges.

5:Place the slices of chorizo evenly on top.

6: Top with mozzarella as much you like more the better!

7:Place second circle on top.

8: Place small glass in centre of circle.

9:Keep glass in middle whilst you cut the pastry, imagine a clock face and cut at every hour.

10:Place tray in freezer for 5 mins just to firm up a bit, to make it easier to twist the spokes. 11:Then twist each spoke with a 1 or 2-turn twist, allowing the end to lay flat.

12: Brush whisked egg all over.

13:Bake the wheel for 20-25 mins until golden brown and puffed up.


Serve on a chopping board and Enjoy!!
