Try this delicious Chilli and Garlic Noodle Salad. Easy to make and tastes fantastic. Perfect weekday lunch or served as a side dish to a main meal. Vegetarian & Vegan-Friendly.
Serves 2 as a main /4 as a side
Ingredients: 200g Vermicelli noodles
1 Carrot (finely sliced or grated)
3 Spring onions (Sliced Lengthways)
Sesame seeds and chilli flakes (optional)
Sauce for noodle salad:
2 tsp Sesame oil
1 Lime zest & juice
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
2 tsp Gia Garlic puree
1 tsp Gia Chilli puree (2 tsp if you like it hot)
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
Method:
1: Place noodles in a pot, cover with boiling water and let them sit for 5 mins until cooked.
2: Mix all sauce ingredients in a jug, stir together and place to one side.
3: Mix noodles together with the carrot, spring onions and sauce.
4: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chilli flakes on top.
